Hyperopia

Hyperopia is a condition in which the eyeball is shorter than usual or that the power of the eye is lower than usual, causing the light rays to produce the image behind the retina and not directly on the retina which is in the back of the eye. That is why people with Hyperopia will have difficulty focusing on near (and/or far objects) unless proper amount of accommodation is used.
Corrective plus lens focus the light on the retina.
